Jobs and Opportunities Available in the Cold Fusion Energy Industry
While the concept of cold fusion energy is not entirely new, it is still in the infant stages of development and research. This form of energy will provide people with such amazing clean burning, low cost energy that it is very exciting to consider getting a job that will help to produce it.
Some of the main opportunities in the field of cold fusion energy are the research and development of better ways to build the necessary equipment, and of course more cost efficient ways to produce this energy so that the average homeowner can eventually afford to have the cold fusion technology in their home.
The main element being researched and developed right now is the energy catalyzer that was developed by the Italian engineer Andrea
Rossi. This energy catalyzer creates heat when nickel powder is placed in a hydrogen environment that has been pressurized, along
with some secret ingredients known to only a few. Once all of these elements are combined and heated to a temperature of between 450 and 500 C, there begins to be a nuclear reaction. When the reaction occurs it releases energy in large amounts, but it only took a small quantity of the nickel powder and the hydrogen to manufacture the resulting energy.
The usage of cold fusion will cause an increase need in hydrogen and in nickel powder to be made available, especially as the energy source gains popularity and becomes common in homes and businesses.
A great number of manufacturing positions are going to become available as this process of creating low cost energy begins to catch on. There will have to
be plants that manufacture and design every different piece of the reactor, and all things that will be required to operate them.
There is going to be a great need for technicians with a working knowledge of all the equipment, and what it is supposed to do. These technicians will be charged with troubleshooting problems, and finding solutions to these problems. These technicians may also be asked to write books and manuals explaining to others how to troubleshoot these energy sources, and how to repair the suspected problems.
Since these devices will reportedly only need refueled every six months, and they are going to be recommended for a maintenance check at the time of refueling it is highly likely that a large number of jobs will be opened up as technicians to refuel the systems. The systems will be very easy for the average person to operate, since all you do is flip a switch like you were turning on the lights in your house, but the refueling will require a little more technical knowledge of the device, and it will need to be done with care. Each device will more than likely be checked for its radioactive output at the time of refueling so it may be necessary for the individuals who are going to train for this position to hold a degree in engineering.
There are currently plants under construction that will use cold fusion energy to power entire factories. This is a great opportunity to find jobs in the design and construction of the elements that have to be in place to manufacture this energy. In these instances of plants under construction for this purpose there is a need for contractors, engineers, and a normal labor force to build what the
contractors and engineers map out.
It is reported that a good number of these jobs creating these devices of Rossi’s design will be in the United States. A company that Mr. Rossi has had ties to since the early 1990s has reportedly came to an agreement with Mr. Rossi to provide him royalty payments for their
right to produce, license and sell his invention. Rossi is said to have readily agreed and within the next three years the company is expected to be mass producing the devices. These devices are to be targeted at large corporations, factories, and businesses,
as well as residential customers worldwide. There is a rumor that there is also a European company that may be offering a similar deal to Rossi, but there is no confirmation of
this rumor at this time.
